BENEFITS

Prevents tartar and bad breath
The sodium salt Sodium Hexametaphosphate counteracts the formation of tartar. It tethers calcium from the dogs saliva, prevents the creation of calcium crystals and keeps dental plaque soft, so it can be removed while the dog is chewing. The Kelp algae (Ascophyllum nodosum) supports the defense against tartar build-up through stabilisation in the saliva. Peppermint leaves counteract the development of bad breath.
Supports teeth and gum
Eggshell powder is a great source of calcium and promotes strong and healthy teeth. Ginger and Rosemary have anti-inflammatory features and protect the gum.
A booster for the immune system
The combination of pre- and probiotics (Beta-Glucan, Inulin, MOS and FOS) has a positive impact on the immune system of dogs. Carrots, beet, celery, zucchini and pumpkin contain a lot of fibre which help to regulate digestion. Just like brewers yeast, which has a high content of vitamin B. Flaxseed oil contains omega-3 acids and can prevent inflammation within the whole body.

The most important questions & answers

Why should I feed Fresh Smile to my Doggo?

Fresh Smile prevents bad breath and supports dental health.

When can I start using Fresh Smile on my dog?

We recommend Fresh Smile for all dogs from the age of 6 months. This is because proper dental care should be trained and carried out regularly, even when your dog is a puppy. The earlier you start your doggo's dental care, the longer he will be able to benefit from it.

Does Fresh Smile really support healthy teeth and gums?

Yes, for sure! ;-) This snack is one of our favourites! We know how important healthy oral flora and teeth are. That's why we have only used the best ingredients: Sodium hexametaphosphate as a helpful remedy for tartar, as well as selenium and zinc for inner strength.

How do I get rid of bad breath from my dog?

Bad breath in dogs is a symptom that can often be traced back to insufficient oral hygiene. It is often plaque or even tartar on the teeth that is responsible for the bad smell. In order to reduce your dog's bad breath, you should definitely do something for your doggo's dental care! Fresh Smile can help your doggo reduce plaque on the teeth and actively fight bad breath. Fresh Smile also contains peppermint, which freshens your doggo's breath.

Is it sensible to brush my dog's teeth?

Brushing your dog's teeth regularly is useful and important as it can remove the more stubborn plaque and food debris on your doggo's teeth. While our formula is very effective at treating hard-to-reach areas of the mouth and supporting optimal dental health, we still advise you to brush your dog's teeth as often as possible.

Do dietary supplements only help old & sick dogs?

No! Nutritional supplements can help not only old and sick dogs but also young and healthy dogs! Because a supplement programme already makes sense before there is a problem. With our tasty snacks, you can proactively support your dog's long-term health. This way you can prevent illnesses and problems, or at least reduce their effects in dogs that are already ill.

Why is dental care important for dogs?

Not only humans, but also dogs need dental care. Because even in dogs, plaque can form on the teeth if dental care is inadequate, which can then turn into tartar. To prevent tartar from forming in the first place, it is important that you regularly remove the plaque from your doggo's teeth. Fresh Smile dog treats can help your doggo naturally remove plaque from his teeth.

How do I get my dog's teeth clean?

Regular dental care is important to prevent your dog from getting tartar! To ensure that your doggo's dental care is really effective, you should make sure that the dental care product contains sodium salts. Sodium salts help to bind the calcium crystals in the saliva that are responsible for the formation of tartar. This prevents them from being deposited on your doggo's teeth in the first place.

Why 96.4% of dogs love mammaly snacks?

During product development we put a lot of focus on the taste of our snacks, because what's the point of a super helpful snack if it has to be forced on every dog 😉 That's why we conduct a small internal study with dogs from friends, family members and customers. In doing so, we test how often they eat our snacks using 60 picky dogs. In the current test, only 2 dogs did not eat our snacks, resulting in an acceptance rate of 96.4% - a proud value that deserves to be crowned with a 90-day guarantee - we think.
